Male med Distress/painting with Distress - a tutorial

Step 1:
*************************************************************************************
First you have to stamp a image and finding your Distress Ink. I like to paint with a normal painting brush and water, but I also use a waterbrush.
I start finding a pattern paper, and will paint this Image with the color "Aged mahogany" and "broken China"

Step 2:

*********************************************************************************

Paint the image with color "broken china". Add color around the edge of the dress and blend well.

Step 3:

****************************************************************************

Add color "faded Jeans" where the shade will be. I have put the shade inside the dress and on the edge of the dress, both up and down ..

Step 4:

***************************************************************

Add color "aged mahogany" on the edge of the skirt and boots, and blend into the color toward the center in a circular motion

Step 5:

***********************************************
Now has Krilla get color in her face. I have used "tattered rose" in the body and face, and then colored with "vintage photo" on the edged to get the right color.

Tilslutt/Final

*****************************************************

A complete performance with color everywhere. I have also used the "Antique Linen" to create the shadow around the Krilla

Slikt ble kortet/ and the card look like this:

  4. Oh my, you have done such a good tutorial about distresses and such a beautiful way you use them! I use "normal" watercolours and distress together, somethimes some chalks also for a finishing touch.
Your cards looks so great, need to gome again later to have a good look around!

  5. Rigtig god guide, og skønt at læse hvilke farver du har brugt oveni, for at give mere farve/nuance/skygge.

    Tak.
